Her intensive artistic work, began Ingrid Stiehler with the landscape photography, when she studied at the academy of administration and business in NRW. Inspirated by the different art trends of the cultures of Asia, Africa and North America, she connected always new impression and historic technics, by many of her journeys. Her slogan is, to be developed „learning by doing ", whereby it is always her endeavour to find an own style from this and to create aesthetic and decorative things. The preferential materials in „Ingrid‘s Workshop" are silk, gypsum, bronze, wood, acrylic and not least silver. Since the movie „The 13th Warrior " woke the interest in art and culture of the Viking era, she designed silver jewelry in an extraordinary connection from historical viking/celtic design and modern style and manufactures this unique pieces in manual work.
