I started art since I was 6 years of age, and I am completely self taught. I started painting when I was 13 years old and at the same time I got involved in architecture and many times I use architectural designs in my artworks. Calligraphy came to me when I was 26 years old while studying Medieval Art and illuminated manuscripts when I was 35 years old while my visit to Rome while seeing the bright colorful illuminated manuscripts at the Vatican museum. I now do name poems, bookmarks and greeting cards. I also do commissions for original art especially illuminated manuscripts. But I now mostly deal with decorative paintings.

I will give a demo on the series Art Throughout the Ages. The theme will be Ancient Minoan Art and I will paint a small corner of the partial artwork for the demo. The demo will be at the Civic Center at East Rutherford at 7pm.
