Monica Lowenberg was born in Mexico City, and as of a young age, showed a special interest as well as a flair for professional growth within the wonderful world of the Fine Arts, her talent in painting has been an essential motivation in her life, without forgetting the pleasures of composing music and writing.
The zeal to better herself, converted her into a self-taught artist, which in turn led her to the investigation and discovery of different techiniques in painting, as well as different workshops in India, Spain, New York, Colombia, Mexico City and where she now lives in Cuernavaca Morelos.
She graduated as a Graphic Designer, a profession which helped her cross a bridge to get into the world of colours and shapes and to find a pictorial language, very characteristic of her work.
Her figurative topic, catches and is able to capture the most subliminal sentiments of the Human Being, by expressing the complete spiritual goodness, with simplicity and warmth. Her work confirms the taste for combined techniques, oils, acrylic and inks giving way to a contemporary style.
Her need to create, express, capture and be able to transmit to you all what my soul feels in fundamental, as it is to give you my quiet listening, my tired tranquility, my feelings with no sense, and unrevealed secret of wordless conversations, of a time out of time of a contrast in colour, a heaven and a hell, of a dry tear, of an angel and I.
I dance between intense brushstrokes and soft strokes achieving contrasting colours where melancholic scenes or perhaps a love story are drawn, where you are a protagonist with only one aim, to feel this moment of creation so that the art doesn´t remain here, but rather within you, awakening all that the soul holds.
Mónica Löwenberg nace en la Ciudad de México. Desde pequeña mostró especial interés para desempeñarse dentro del maravilloso mundo de Las Bellas Artes, su talento en la Pintura ha sido motivo esencial en su vida, descubriendo también aptitudes por la música, la fotografía y las letras.
Hizo estudios en Diseño Gráfico, profesión que le sirvió como puente para adentrarse en el mundo de los colores y las formas, encontrando un lenguaje pictórico muy característico de su obra, su tema figurativo atrapa y logra plasmar los sentimientos más sublimes que guarda el Ser Humano, expresando la bondad de su espíritu con calidez y sencillez.
El afán por superarse la convirtió en una artista autodidacta, aun cuando no ha dejado de tomar cursos y talleres., la investigación en diferentes técnicas pictóricas confirman el gusto por los óleos, pasteles y tintas dando paso a un estilo contemporáneo, logrando abrir exposiciones en lugares como La India, en donde vivió, España, Nueva York, Colombia, México DF y en la Ciudad donde radica desde hace tiempo Cuernavaca en Morelos México.
Sus ultimas exposiciones son: 2009 Exposición colectiva UNILA en Cuernavaca Morelos, Arte Navidad Galería ART`E ART y Exposición colectiva Erotic-Art en México.
También escribe en dos diarios en donde radica, enmarcando su labor cultural con un toque inspirador y encontrando una nueva faceta de su vida: el periodismo.
Mónica dice:
2008, año de cambios en mi vida, necesidad de hacer y deshacer para poder dar mas de mi, los sentimientos son como colores vibrantes que los acomodo líricamente con expresionismo, donde lo figurativo sigue latente, sin embargo las ansias incansables de buscar me llevaron a la abstracción y al simbolismo, un camino en el cual he podido darme plenamente. El amor y la entrega son mi tema esencial, esa entrega a un todo donde los sueños, las fantasías y la sensualidad juegan un papel muy importante en estas pequeñas historias de seres como tu y como yo que anhelan la fusión con lo divino. Espero sea de tu agrado mi trabajo realizado solo para ti.
