I can describe myself as an ordinary painter and as an addition - a painter, who prefers to work with textile . My technique is definitely mixed - acrylic painting and collage. One of my personal interests is hand weaving and I make sometimes work on demand and when I am fascinated with something.
I love playing with digital camera and taking shots, in fact my best side in this direction is a strong desire to show how light affects and plays with the body.
As a creator I adore all which do not fit in plain definition of art and my weakness are contrasts.

About Me.

I was born in Rostov on Don in Russia. Nowadays I am a studetn of the monumental department of The Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after by Surikov. My teachers are - E.N.Maximov, I.L.Lubennicov, V.P.Myasoedov. In 2008 I have defended is the "Small Diploma" and received a bachelor`s degree.My work names is " Zinedine Zidane". This is the project of disign of restaurant in a museum of Olympic Games in Moscow. My problem was to create at visitors sensation of presence on a football match and their inclusiveness in game. I have completely developed all space of restaurant.In there are huge installations. All subjects of an interior are designed by me and work on the main idea of absorption in an atmosphere of football. The painting must be done in the mixed media. There will be a traditional fresco , impressive plaster, a collage, special paper used by restorers, etc. . The main Hero of my work is-Zinedine Zidane: a man is-legend.Why is he? The answer, obvious. In today's world, where sport and politics are inseparable, the victory at the World Championships is tantamount to success in international negotiations. He was a winner, having lost officially. Who will remember the dubious victory for the Italians? And Zinedine Zidane will forever remain in history of world football.

(This is my Little diploma). You are see only a fragment of the painting, which covers all the walls. The photos painting sketch the main wall, which is a separate and independent works of art. Since the museum has not yet been built, and the project can be implemented at other sites such as the design of other restaurants, cinema, sports complex, fan club, and so on.

I try to do things interesting to me since if my work will not be interesting to me it will not be interesting also to another.I am thinking that the main challenge for the artist, there is cause the viewer the emotions, an interest in art, thought to make!I have never worked on was require the viewer, but to the surprised of my works - are liked many people!I am in painting, drawing, doing the murals, realls frtsco, mosaics, doing design, and many others.I have always put my heart and my energy into all my work! All my work is very important to me!

== Biography ==

'''Allan Linder''' was born in California in 1966. He is the great grandson of Italian, immigrants that share a unique family history of four generations of artists’. A versatile artist from early childhood, Linder instinctively knew how to draw filling endless sketchbooks with his imagination. He is a diverse and prolific artist, it is estimated that he has created more 3000 paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache, 5000 drawings in pencil, pen & ink, oil-stick, and charcoal, 200 sculptures in bronze, wax, ceramic, wood and mixed media.

Linder is exhibiting in New York City where he resides, and has exhibited internationally in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Hamburg, Germany; Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain. His work is held in private collections in the US from New York City, to Los Angeles, California. He has international collectors in Canada, Italy, France, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Japan and the Netherlands. He continues to work with a fever of enthusiasm and unceasing passion, challenging the viewer’s intellect with images of New York City and his imagination.

== Early Life ==

Allan’s father deserted his family when Linder was only eight years of age. Linder and his three siblings were raised by his single mother Diana that drifted through most of the Western states in search of work during his youth. This nomadic lifestyle contributed greatly to the development of his artwork and technique. His first artistic training was from his mother, later he apprenticed with several notable artists during his travels across America. At the age of fifteen he was nationally acknowledged for his work placing him in the top ten percent of art students in America. Linder went on to receive the Bank of America award for achievement in art and was given a financial scholarship. In 1984 he exhibited his already substantial body of work in his first gallery showing.

== Personal Life ==

In the 1980’s Linder was immersed in the art scene, and the growing in Los Angeles. He spent much of his time hanging out with local emerging and established artists, celebrities, writers, and poets during art receptions and parties, exchanging ideas and techniques as they developed their social and artistic skills which led him create some very interesting works. In addition to painting and sculpting, Linder enjoyed spinning records at some of the hottest night clubs and parties, exploring music and the club culture. Although his roots are in Realism, Linder was experimented with a variety of paintings styles and artistic movements, Neo-expressionism, Pop-art, Art deco style and Abstract_art. His inspiration was the New York artists; Andy Warhol, Jean_Michel_Basquiat, and Robert_Rauschenberg, and the Los Angeles artists; Patrick_Nagel, Lari Pittman, and Kenny_Scharf, in addition to many others.

In the late 1990’s Linder split his time between Los Angeles and New York City, maintaining painting studios in both Hollywood and SoHo for several years. Eventually the pull of the Big Apple led him to settle in New York during the beginning of the new millennium. In New York City, Linder opened an artist run gallery with a business partner to explore the art scene, and create a community for like minded artists to exhibit their work. He started the ground floor “Artists Gallery” in Chelsea, the heart of the New York art scene. Chelsea is home to more than 100 art galleries and museums in New York City. The Artists’ Gallery exhibitions focused on different cultural and political themes ranging from Art as Therapy to Pop Music. Linder would often co-curate exhibitions, and include elements of spoken word, music, performance art, video, installations, paintings, sculpture and poetry. Along with his own work Linder exhibited the work of numerous emerging artists; Boom, Olan, John Goetz and Miko Goodnough as well as established painters like the abstract expressionist Robert Goodnough, renowned illustrator Gary Aagaard, Howard Eisman, Gary Jurysta and Leon_Golub. The Artists’ gallery did very well for several years, but the bursting New York real estate market eventually caught up with the gallery and it closed its doors in 2004 after exhibiting more than 150 artists from 12 countries.

Allan Linder’s early work reflects his experimentation with materials, mediums, and subject matter. Most of his early paintings tend to be more colorful and expressive, he incorporates symbolism, shapes, numbers, and objects, the people that he paints have a sense of mystery and mysticism. His style varies from painting to painting as does his signature. With his stepfather in the military, Linder attended more than eight elementary schools around America further diversifying his social perspective. Linder accepted his stepfather’s surname, Shaw, and painted as Allan Shaw for most of the years between 1979 and 1995, making these unique Shaw paintings very collectible today.

==== Medium ====

Linder has worked with nearly every medium over the past 25 years to create his artwork. He has created early stone carvings, sculpture in wood, cast bronze, aluminum, welded steel, silver, earthenware, wax, and clay. He has also worked in paper, cardboard, pen and ink, charcoal, gouaches, watercolor, chalk pastel, oil pastel, oil paint, acrylic and of course pencil. Out of all of the mediums at his disposal, his passion lies with acrylic paint on canvas and simple pencil on paper.

===== Current Work =====

With the advent of his thirtieth birthday, Linder forsook the Shaw name, finally accepting his true family name despite his father’s abandonment. Not only does Allan paint with the Linder surname, but his signature is created the same way on every painting from about 1996 to present. His style has matured and become more consistent with his skill. His recent artworks are very complex realistic scenes of New York City and the surrounding borough’s, he uses rich color along with dramatic lighting to instill a real sense of energy and emotion, just as you would find in the city that never sleeps.

I was born in Moçambique, then when I was five I went to South Africa were I lived for about three years. At this time my father got a job in Macau so me and my family went to Macau. I lived there for about seven years after which my father thought of coming to Portugal because of the family we have here. I have been here since then. After high school I took a digree on Animal Production in a city called Beja, because of differente reasons I never had a job in this area. With relation to starting to work with papier máchê, I have to say that I always had a knack for all that has to do with working with my hands, so papier máchê came naturally. I´ve been working with papier máchê form some years now and because of not having studied art I had to learn by trail and error how to work papier máchê as well as a can. Every time I make a new piece I learn a little bit more. I think that it is the most gratifying parte of working with this wonderfull material.

I am a full time artist native to Florida. I have always had a great interest in art and started drawing at an early age. Throughout my childhood I was given the tools and encouragement needed to help my creativity blossom. After years of drawing I decided to take my art in a different direction by experimenting with different mediums. I created her first acrylic painting in 2005 and it has been my medium of choice from then on. Since moving into the art scene I have become an award winning artist several times over. My art has been featured on book covers, calendars, cross stitch patterns, and in private collections worldwide. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects, but my main focus is fantasy art. I am most known for my popular dragon eye series titled Dragon Souls and my Jeweled Kitty series. Other fantasy pieces are fairies, mermaids, unicorns, and many more mythical creatures. These paintings are created in a variety of sizes including miniature OSWOA (original small works of art 4”x6”), and ACEO (art card editions and originals 2.5” x 3.5”) pieces. I am always working on new projects and recently added hand painted one of a kind jewelry and green artwork to my portfolio. I take great pleasure in sharing my passion with all.

Dominik Smolik | Poland

Born in 1982. He was educated at the Pontifical Academy in Cracow at faculty of Painting under guidance of professors Lucjan Orzech, Romuald Oramus, Waldemar Łaciak and Grzegorz Bednarski. He is inspired by widely understood contemporary art.
